Philippines: A Week of Spreading Islam and Supporting New Muslims

Alhamdulillah, another productive week of da’wah has concluded in the Philippines. Through the dedication of the team, Islam was shared with 388 people, while an additional 45 people were reached online. The team also distributed 295 Hesus (Jesus) pamphlets, helping communities understand the Islamic perspective on Prophet Isa (peace be upon him).

By the grace of Allah, 12 people embraced Islam and took their shahadah this week. Supporting new Muslims remains a key focus, and 68 new Muslims received guidance and assistance to strengthen their faith. These efforts reflect the importance of nurturing and caring for those newly guided to Islam.

Follow-up work continues to be a priority. The team engaged with 342 old Muslims and 223 new Muslims, along with 186 online follow-ups, ensuring that the community remains connected and spiritually supported. Additionally, 76 people attended the khutbah, benefiting from guidance and learning in a communal setting.

The week’s activities included house-to-house visits, street da’wah, one-on-one discussions, small group sessions, online outreach, radio programs, village visits, and collaboration meetings with other Islamic groups. Each interaction, big or small, contributed to spreading knowledge and strengthening faith across the community.

Jazakumullahu khairan to everyone involved in these efforts. May Allah accept your work, reward your sincerity, and continue to guide both those sharing and those receiving the message. Ameen.
