In the quiet village of Nkoola, Yamikan Nzeya, a widowed mother of one, lived a life marked by simplicity and survival. With limited resources, each day was a test of resilience as she worked tirelessly to provide for her child.
Everything began to change when the village chief announced that a group of Muslims would be visiting to teach about their faith. Driven by curiosity, Yamikan attended the session—unaware that it would open the door to a complete transformation of her beliefs and understanding.

During the classes, she was introduced to the core principles of Islam—the Pillars of Iman and Islam, the discipline of daily prayers, and the deeper truths that challenged her past misconceptions. What she once viewed with uncertainty now became a source of peace and purpose.
Inspired by her newfound faith, Yamikan now hopes others in her village will join the sessions and benefit as she has. She dreams of creating an environment where even the most vulnerable—orphans, the elderly, and the disabled—can attend freely. She believes that with small acts of kindness and support, many more hearts can be guided to the light of Islam, just as hers was.
