The team came together for a retreat, a moment to pause, to look back at the challenges of the past months, and to prepare for the road ahead with fresh determination.
The atmosphere was filled with honesty, hope, and brotherhood as the Du‘āt shared their struggles, from limited resources to outreach barriers, and turned those hardships into lessons of strength and growth.

It was a heartfelt reminder that taking shahadah is not the end, but the beginning of a lifelong journey. The retreat renewed a deep commitment to walk alongside them, offering mentorship, education, and companionship so they never feel alone as they grow in faith and practice.
The retreat reached its peak with inspiring words from the Regional Manager of Uganda and Rwanda, who reminded everyone that sincerity, unity, and patience are the pillars of da‘wah.
The event closed with renewed hope and determination to strengthen classes, welcome more attendees, and open doors for both Muslims and non-Muslims.
Allah says: “Indeed, with hardship comes ease.” (Qur’an 94:6)
