A Journey of Truth: Four Friends Accept Islam

Peter Mussa is from Soche. One day, he met the IERA city team while they were distributing thobes to newly reverted Muslim brothers who had recently taken their Shahadah. Seeing the happiness of the new Muslims and the kindness shown by the team made him happy. Although he was not interested in becoming a Muslim at that time, he was impressed by what he saw.

The dawah team decided to speak with him and explain Islam. They told him that Islam teaches kindness to everyone and that Muslims are brothers to one another. They explained that a believer should have good character and care for other people. Peter found this message interesting and said that he would think about becoming a Muslim.

The next day, Peter returned with several questions. He asked why Islam is sometimes associated with bad news, whether Islam is a religion of war, what the word Islam means, and how a person becomes a Muslim. The team explained that Islam is not a religion of war and that many negative stories and accusations come from people who misunderstand or hate Islam. They told him that the word Islam means submission to the will of Allah and that becoming a Muslim begins with believing in Allah as the One Creator and worshipping Him alone. After hearing the answers and understanding the message of Islam, Peter became convinced and accepted Islam by taking his Shahadah.

After accepting Islam, Peter went home and shared the good news with his friend. He told his friend about the beauty of Islam, its teachings of kindness, and the truth he had learned. The following day, his friend came to meet the dawah team and asked questions about Islam. After understanding the true message of Islam and realizing that many of the negative things they had heard came from people who hated or misunderstood Islam, his friend also accepted Islam and took his Shahadah.
