Ane Lemban from Phalombe embraced Islam four months ago after spending nearly 20 years as a member of the Church of Christ. She had faithfully practiced Christianity for many years and never imagined that she would one day change her religion.
One day, the IERA Dawah Team visited her village to conduct Dawah classes. Ane attended the classes regularly and was eager to learn about Islam. Despite her age, she was the first student to memorize Surah Al-Fatihah, showing her dedication and strong desire to understand the teachings of Islam.

As her knowledge of Islam grew, Ane decided that she wanted to become a Muslim. However, her family strongly opposed her decision. They told her that she could not leave the Church of Christ because the entire family had been raised in that faith. Ane respectfully replied that every person is responsible for their own choices before God and that she had chosen to follow Islam.
After making her decision, Ane returned to the outreach specialist and said, “I am ready to become a Muslim.” She then sincerely recited the Shahadah and embraced Islam.
