In a major stride toward nurturing and retaining new converts, iERA’s Education Officer, Brother Akram, has launched a hands-on training initiative across the districts. Recognizing that the journey of a new Muslim doesn’t end at the Shahada (testimony of faith) but rather begins there, iERA has distributed specialized teaching flipcharts to district heads. These flipcharts are designed as vital pedagogical anchors, transforming how du’ats (Islamic propagation workers) and outreach specialists interact with, mentor, and empower those who have newly embraced Islam.
To ensure these tools aren’t just received but masterfully utilized, Brother Akram took the district heads straight to the field for an immersive, practical demonstration. He showcased the unique effectiveness of the visual aids, demonstrating how they simplify complex concepts and keep learners engaged. Brother Akram then urged the district heads to pass this training down, equipping local outreach specialists with the exact methodologies needed to seamlessly teach foundational Islamic knowledge.

More than just a presentation tool, these flipcharts serve as a structured, 25-day roadmap. The ultimate goal is self-sufficiency: ensuring that within less than a month, every new Muslim can confidently practice their newfound religion on their own. By standardizing the curriculum, these flipcharts have officially become the go-to guiding equipment for da’ees, bridging the gap between conversion and lifelong devotion, one page at a time.
