On a bright afternoon during one of our outreach activities, we met a non-Muslim who stopped to listen as we spoke about Islam. At first, his face was full of surprise—he admitted he had never really known what Muslims believed.
The more we shared, the more questions poured out of him. Every answer seemed to peel away another layer of misunderstanding. He asked about God, about Jesus, about the prophets, and about the Qur’an. With each response, his curiosity only deepened.

Time passed quickly, and soon the call for Zuhr prayer echoed. We told him we needed to pause for prayer, but before parting, we placed a copy of the Qur’an in his hands. “This will help you learn more, even when we are not here,” we said.
He accepted it with gratitude, holding it carefully as though he already knew it was something special. That day, he walked away still a non-Muslim, but with the Qur’an in his possession—and perhaps the first steps of a new journey unfolding.
