While we were setting up our dawah table, an Christian accountant stopped to ask: “Is this Qur’an for sale?” We said: “No”. He went ahead to inform us that he was interested in studying Islamic finance as an accountant and was also studying a bit of Islam as well. Immediately we saw the opportuinity to give dawah and we took it.
We began to explain to him the basic principle of fitrah, prophets and the messages sent by God to mankind from time immemorial. He was attentive all through but was also chiming in a few words here and there. Towards the end of the conversation, he said: “This is eye opening” Allahu Akba

We offered him the opportunity to ask questions and he requested us to recommend a book for him. Guess our book of choice? Yes, you guessed it: The Qur’an. We gifted him many more books and exchanged contact information for future interaction. Words cannot describe the emotions on his face, we could only say he was happy, excited and overjoyed as he left the table
