In an inspiring gathering of faith and community, over 300 people came together for a mega mass dawah function, organized by Islamic Education and Research Academy (iERA) Uganda. The event yielded a momentous milestone as more than 50 attendees bravely stood up to recite the shahadah and embrace Islam.
The special occasion was graced by Brother Abdul-Raheem Bevan, an iERA guest visiting from Qatar to observe the progress of dawah efforts across Uganda. Addressing the audience, Brother Bevan encouraged the gathering to reflect deeply on their Creator and the purpose of human existence. He reminded everyone that humanity—and everything on earth—was created with a primary purpose: to worship God alone.

Reinforcing this message, Brother Muhammad, the Country Manager for iERA Uganda, highlighted the core concept of Tawheed (the oneness of God). He illustrated the logical harmony of monotheism, explaining how the existence of multiple gods would create conflict and chaos in the universe. He urged the audience to place their trust solely in the One Omnipotent God.
As the message resonated through the venue, over 50 men and women stepped forward to accept the faith, guided through their shahadah by Brother Bevan. The remarkable success of the event highlighted the dedicated, collaborative efforts of the entire iERA Uganda team in serving their community.
