A new chapter had begun in his life a journey of faith.

In Wita Village, a young livestock herder spent his days caring for and grazing his animals across the open countryside. Like many others in the village, he worked hard to provide for himself and his family, often traveling long distances in search of suitable pasture.

One day, while leading his livestock in search of grazing land, he met a da’wah worker from IERA along the way. After exchanging greetings, they began a conversation. The da’i spoke to him kindly about Islam, explaining the oneness of Allah, His mercy toward His creation, and the noble example of Prophet Muhammad.

The young man listened with great interest. The message touched his heart, and he eagerly asked questions about faith, worship, and the purpose of life. The da’i answered each question with wisdom, patience, and evidence, helping him gain a clearer understanding of Islam.

As the conversation came to an end, the young herder reflected on everything he had heard. The truth became clear to him, and he felt a sense of peace and certainty within his heart. Without hesitation, he chose to accept Islam and joyfully recited the Shahadah, declaring his belief in Allah and His Messenger.

The occasion was filled with gratitude and happiness. A new chapter had begun in his life a journey of faith, learning, and worship. Since embracing Islam, he has started learning the prayer, studying the Qur’an, and growing in his knowledge of the religion. May Allah strengthen him upon the truth, protect his faith, and make him a source of guidance, family and community.
