During one of iERA Tanzania’s dawah activities, a team of Islamic callers arrived at a lakeside area where many residents were busy with fishing and small-scale business activities. As they walked along the shore, observing the daily life of the community, they came across a young man sitting quietly by the water.
The dawah team greeted him warmly and respectfully, and a simple conversation began about life in the village and the daily struggles and routines of the people living there. The relaxed and friendly interaction created a comfortable environment for dialogue.
As the conversation continued, it gradually shifted toward matters of faith and the reality of the existence of one Creator. The young man openly shared that he often reflected on the idea of worshipping one God, but had never met someone who could clearly explain it to him.

The dawah team then gently explained the message of Islam, speaking about the mercy of Allah, the purpose of life, and the guidance brought by all the Prophets. Their words were delivered with kindness and clarity, which made the message easy to understand and deeply meaningful.
As the discussion progressed, the young man appeared visibly moved by what he was hearing. By the end of their conversation, he expressed that he had found truth in Islam and sincerely requested to be guided into the faith. The team then assisted him in declaring the shahada, and he embraced Islam, beginning a new journey of faith and understanding.
