While carrying out Da‘wah in a village in Tanzania, an outreach from iERA met a villager along the road. The Da‘i kindly asked him for help with something, and after receiving permission, they began talking. During their conversation, the villagers noticed that the Da‘i’s accent was different from that of the local people.
Curious, the villager asked, “Your accent is not from around here. Where are you from?” The Da‘i explained where he came from and where he was staying in the village. As they continued talking, the villager became impressed by the Da‘i’s kindness, humility, good manners, and willingness to help others.

The conversation soon opened an opportunity for the Da‘i to speak about Islam. He explained the message of Islam and invited the villagers to learn more about this beautiful and noble religion. The villager listened carefully and reflected on what he had heard.
He then shared that he had often heard people say that Muslims are known for their good character. However, on this day, he had witnessed that character for himself through the Da‘i’s actions.
By the grace and mercy of Allah, the conversation touched his heart and opened it to Islam. He eventually recited the Shahadah and embraced Islam.
