He grew up following the beliefs and practices he had been taught, including the worship of idols. However, deep in his heart, questions began to arise. He wanted to understand whether idol worship was truly right and sought answers about the true Creator and the purpose of human life. These questions became the beginning of his spiritual journey in search of truth.
During a period of Da’wah activities, Oresta had the opportunity to meet teachers from iERA who were sharing the message of Islam. They gently explained to Tawheed the belief in the Oneness of Allah and taught him that Allah is the Creator of everything and that only He deserves to be worshipped. This message deeply touched him and provided answers to some of the questions he had been carrying in his heart.

He continued attending discussions and lessons about Islam. He learned about the life of Prophet Muhammad, the importance of prayer, good character, compassion, and brotherhood. The more he learned, the more he began to appreciate the beauty of Islam and its call to worship Allah directly while living a life of righteousness.
After deep reflection and finding answers to his questions, he freely chose to embrace Islam. In the presence of iERA teachers, he sincerely recited the Shahadah and entered Islam. It was a deeply meaningful moment that marked the beginning of a new chapter in his life.
After accepting Islam, he began learning the fundamentals of his new faith, including the five daily prayers, supplication, cleanliness, and Islamic manners. With continued support from his teachers, he remained eager to learn and strengthen his faith. His story reminds us of the importance of sharing the message of Islam with wisdom, kindness, patience, and respect.
