As the iERA team in Tanzania combed the Southern district of the country, the came across a young man at a bar who had just purchased a bottle of alcohol.
They engaged him in a conversation in am attempt to spread the message of Islam.
They got the full attention of the young man and explained the teachings of the religion to him, they discussed the harmful consequences of disobeying Allah as well as the virtues of following Islam.
The young man was touched by the message and was willing to embrace the religion and before declaring the shahadah, he asked about the permissibility of consuming alcohol.
The team made it clear to hi that Islam had prohibited the drinking of alcohol as well as other intoxicants.
Hearing this, he immediately discarded the bottle he had bought and declared the shahadah.
After he embraced the religion, the iERA team replaced the alcohol he had discarded with an orange fruit juice.
We pray that Allah guides him and strengthens his commitment to the path of righteousness.
