During one of our Da’wah conversations, we met a Christian man who was eager to talk about faith. As the discussion went on, something remarkable unfolded—almost every belief he expressed matched the core beliefs of a Muslim.
He spoke about believing in one God, about loving Jesus as a prophet and servant of God, and about following a life of obedience and prayer. When our Da’i gently pointed out, “These are the very beliefs of Islam,” he froze in surprise.

For a moment, he hesitated. His eyes shifted, and with a nervous laugh he admitted, “If I read the Qur’an, it might change my heart.” That fear alone revealed just how powerful the truth already felt to him.
With reassurance, we explained that the Qur’an is not a book of confusion but a book of clarity and guidance. Slowly, his hesitation faded, and he stretched out his hand to accept a copy.
Though he did not take shahadah that day, the Qur’an now rests in his possession—a door opened, a seed planted, and perhaps a heart on the path to guidance.
