On one of our street Da’wah outreaches, we came across a humble petty trader sitting quietly by his stall. At first, he looked at us with curiosity as we approached, but soon, that curiosity turned into a lively conversation.
As our da’i began to share the message of Islam, the trader’s eyes widened in surprise. “I never knew Muslims believe in that,” he exclaimed again and again as new points were explained to him. The more he listened, the more questions he had—questions about God, about Jesus, about the Qur’an, and about the purpose of life.

What started as a simple greeting turned into a conversation that lasted well over an hour. He asked, we answered. He doubted, we explained. He smiled, we smiled back. By the end of the exchange, his face carried a glow of amazement.
He told us, “I have lived around Muslims for years, but no one ever explained these things to me. Today, I feel like I’ve discovered something new.”
He was left happy, impressed, and super surprised that the Islam he thought he knew was very different from the Islam he just discovered.
This simple encounter reminded us of how many hearts are waiting—just waiting—for someone to pause, speak, and share the truth with them.
