In a quiet village in Uganda, a team of duats from iERA Uganda came across a family tending their garden under the warm sun. After greeting them kindly, they requested a few minutes to share a message. The family agreed and listened attentively as the duats spoke about the belief in one God—the Creator of the universe—and how Islam calls people to worship Him alone.

As the discussion continued, the duats explained that Islam honors all prophets, including Jesus (Isa), peace be upon him. Surprised, the family asked how Muslims relate to Jesus, and the duats clarified that he is regarded as a noble messenger of God. When asked why Muslims bow in prayer, they explained that all prophets, including Jesus, worshipped God in humility by bowing, which deeply resonated with the family.
Moved by the message and its clarity, the family reflected and chose to embrace Islam. With joy and conviction, they accepted new names to mark their new journey: John became Aliman (32), Brenda became Hafuswa (25), Topi became Asinat, and Samu became Ismail. What began as a simple conversation in a garden turned into a life-changing moment of faith and guidance.
