Alhamdulillah, the four-month training program for new Muslim duats at the Imam Center has come to a successful end, marking a significant milestone for more than 20 new graduates. The comprehensive training, designed to empower them to spread the prophetic mission in their communities, culminated in a graduation ceremony where the trainees were awarded certificates for their dedication and hard work.
The intensive program was split into two phases. The first three months were dedicated to theoretical training at the Imam Training Centre, providing a solid foundation in Islamic knowledge. This was followed by a month of practical training in the field, where the duats learned how to effectively spread da’wah and lead Muslims in their local communities.

During the graduation ceremony, several speakers offered words of wisdom and encouragement. Operations Officer Abdurahman urged the graduates to use their newfound knowledge to change communities by calling people back to Allah and empowering them with the basics of Islam. Education Officer Brother Akram appealed to the new duats to be exemplary in their communities, emphasizing the importance of respecting the Imams of local mosques to succeed in their roles and in sharing their knowledge.
District Head Brother Yahya offered a crucial piece of advice, urging the graduates to avoid passing fatwas, as they have not yet reached the level of knowledge required to do so. He appealed to them to avoid causing divisions within Islam and instead focus on the core mission of teaching people their religion.
The graduates, filled with joy and a sense of purpose, expressed their gratitude for the project, which was supported by iERA. They shared their excitement and felt energized to begin their journey of spreading the message of Islam, ready to become the new torchbearers of their faith in their communities.
