In a strategic move to sharpen the tools of grassroot Dawah, the iERA office convened a high-energy, one-day educational summit for coordinators and district heads. The atmosphere was one of shared purpose, as leaders gathered with a single objective: to transform field operations into a more structured, impactful, and educational experience for the community.
The highlight of the session came when Brother Akram, iERA’s Education Officer, unveiled the mission’s newest tactical asset: The Dawah Flipchart.
Moving beyond abstract ideas, Akram demonstrated how these flipcharts serve as the backbone for daily lesson planning. By visualizing the curriculum, Outreach Specialists can provide a clear, step-by-step educational journey for the new muslims learning about Islam.“The goal isn’t just to speak, but to teach,” was the underlying message.
To ensure the message hit home, coordinators were tasked with a peer-to-peer exercise, articulating exactly how they would mentor their field teams in integrating these lesson plans into their daily new muslim class routines.

While the tools are new, the expectations for excellence remain high. Brother Yahya, the Acting Operations Officer, took the floor to emphasize the “upright” transmission of knowledge. He challenged the coordinators to ensure that the training they received doesn’t lose its essence when passed down to the Outreach Specialists.
Yahya highlighted class organization as the secret ingredient to empowering New Muslim classes. By using the flipcharts within a structured environment, iERA aims to move away from informal gatherings toward a standardized, professional educational model that honors the journey of every new revert.
The summit concluded with a firm call to action regarding operational transparency. The operations team, led by Brother Yahya, made it clear that the distribution of flipcharts to the Duats comes with a responsibility: The System.
Coordinators and District Heads were urged to maintain a “healthy pressure” on field teams to:
- Update systems regularly to reflect real-time field data.
- Document the usage of the new lesson plans.
- Provide proof of operations to ensure resources are being utilized to their maximum potential.
- As the coordinators departed for their respective districts, they carried more than just new stationery; they carried a refined vision. With the flipcharts in hand and a renewed focus on systematic reporting, iERA is set to elevate its Dawah mission from a series of conversations to a professional, scalable, and deeply impactful educational movement.
