The Sisters Who Asked “Who is God?”

As iERA daees journeyed through the villages spreading the message of Islam, they encountered two twin sisters who had long wrestled with unanswered questions. Warned by others that Islam was a “bad religion,” they had sought guidance from their church leaders, only to be left without answers to their most burning question: “Who is God?” Disheartened, they stopped attending church prayers.

When they met the daees, the sisters asked the same question once more. With clarity and compassion, the daees explained: God is the Creator of the universe, and He is One.

The truth struck a chord. The sisters looked at each other and said, “We have never received answers to this question before. If Islam answers who God is, then it must be the true religion.”

Guided by the daees, they joyfully took their Shahadah. Helen embraced the name Fatuma, while Babura chose Sharifah—a powerful testament to how sincere answers can illuminate hearts and lead souls to truth.
