Alhamdulillah, it was another productive week of Dawah and community engagement across New Zealand. The team shared the message of Islam with 200 people, while one person embraced Islam by taking the Shahadah. Alongside direct Dawah, the team continued supporting new Muslims through one support session and delivered an Islam 101 class to help strengthen understanding and knowledge.
Dawah training and communication skills also remained an important part of the week. The team conducted two Dawah Training sessions and six Public Speaking sessions, equipping participants with greater confidence and practical skills to communicate the message of Islam effectively. In addition, two stakeholder meetings were held, helping strengthen relationships and collaboration within the wider community.

The team also supported Islamic Awareness Week activities at several universities, including AUT MSA in Auckland, Otago University MSA in Dunedin, and Victoria University MSA in Wellington. These initiatives provided opportunities for students and members of the wider public to learn more about Islam, ask questions and engage in meaningful conversations.
In Auckland, the team also joined the MSA for Dawah at Britomart, taking the message directly into a busy public space. Another major highlight was the Mana Islam event at Avondale Masjid, which brought together more than 300 attendees for an evening of learning and community engagement. The week also included a Dawah Training session at Nelson Islamic Centre in Nelson City.
From universities and busy city streets to mosques and community gatherings, the week demonstrated the diverse ways Dawah can reach people across New Zealand. May Allah accept the efforts of everyone involved, strengthen the team, benefit those who attended these programmes, and make these efforts a means of guidance and lasting benefit. Aameen.
