During this period, the team in New Zealand continued its efforts in outreach, education, and community development through both grassroots and institutional engagement.
A total of 120 individuals were introduced to Islam through various forms of da’wah outreach. Two people embraced Islam and took their shahadah during the week, marking moments of spiritual transformation within the community.
Educational initiatives remained strong, with six Islam 101 classes conducted to provide foundational learning about Islam. Two individuals received dedicated support as new Muslims, while one da’wah training session and one public speaking session were also held to strengthen the skills and confidence of volunteers and speakers.

Two stakeholder meetings took place during the week, helping to strengthen partnerships and coordination for ongoing and future initiatives.
Special Events and Programs
A major highlight was the da’wah outreach event held at the Auckland University of Technology, which gathered approximately 1,000 attendees and created a significant platform for engagement with a wide and diverse audience.
In addition, the Mana Islam event in Hamilton City brought together around 150 participants, further contributing to community connection and awareness.
Weekly learning and development programs also continued consistently:
- Friday Seerah classes for reverts, attended by around 40 participants
- “Tuesdays with iERA” da’wah training sessions, with approximately 40 attendees
- Sunday Dawah Trainers Program, engaging 10 dedicated participants in structured training
Overall, the week reflected strong community engagement, steady educational growth, and expanding opportunities for meaningful da’wah across New Zealand.
