In the heart of Venezuela, a man named Rubén set out on a quiet journey — one searching for meaning, truth, and peace. That journey led him to an unexpected place: the Dawah Centre, where he had been invited by a Muslim friend.
His first impression was unforgettable. “I felt surprise, admiration, and a great deal of love,” he recalls. That moment would become the beginning of a transformation that changed his life.
For Rubén, the message of Islam resonated deeply. “The fact that it is such a beautiful and logical religion made me decide,” he says — and soon after, he took his shahada, testifying that there is no god but Allah, and Muhammad (peace be upon him) is His Messenger.
Today, as a Muslim, Rubén’s dreams are no longer just his own. His greatest hope is to share this light with those closest to him. “My greatest dream is that my whole family will share this beautiful religion with me.”
Reflecting on his path, he says: “Before Islam, it was like a journey in search of the truth. After Islam, I arrived at my destination.”
