Small Steps, Sincere Hearts: A Week of Da’wah in Australia

From 30 March to 05 April, the iERA AU team continued their steady efforts—quietly planting seeds of guidance and nurturing hearts across communities.

Throughout the week, 34 individuals were introduced to Islam, each conversation opening a door to reflection and understanding. Among them, two people embraced Islam and took their Shahadah, marking the beginning of a new and deeply meaningful journey.

While no formal Islam 101 classes or large training sessions took place during this period, the impact of personal support remained strong. Seven new Muslims were supported, receiving guidance, reassurance, and a sense of belonging as they navigated their early steps in faith. In addition, one individual benefited from dedicated mentorship, strengthening their connection and confidence in practicing Islam.

A special moment came on Saturday, when a prayer class was conducted for sisters. In a warm and supportive environment, four sisters were guided through wudhu and prayer, learning not just the actions but the meaning behind them. It was a moment filled with sincerity, patience, and quiet joy—Alhamdulillah.

Beyond this, the team also extended their support to a revert family in Perth, helping them begin their journey in learning Arabic. This step, though simple, holds deep significance in connecting them to the Qur’an and their daily prayers.

Though the numbers may seem modest, each interaction carried weight. Every conversation, every lesson, and every moment of support contributed to lives being gently guided—one step at a time.
