It all began in 2018. Up until then, I had no reason or motivation to explore Islam. I didn’t know much about it, and I hardly knew any Muslims—there were a few at my school, but none were really in my friend circle. I came into it with complete ignorance, unaware that all prophets and messages were united by the same core message.
Learning that Jesus, Solomon, David, peace be upon them all, are respected in Islam was a revelation. There was no distinction between them, and that simplicity and unity of belief felt refreshing. Discovering that Jesus is honored in Islam was a moment that stayed with me—truly inspiring.
My curiosity deepened when I came across an article titled something like “Eight or Nine Proofs That the Qur’an Is a Divine Miracle.” At that time, I hadn’t even read the Qur’an; I was just absorbing knowledge from various stories and sources. Now, after having read the Qur’an multiple times, I can see there are countless signs and miracles that point to its divine origin.

One example describes clouds in the sky as being “heavy.” How would a Bedouin Arab in the 600s have known that clouds have weight—thousands of tons, in fact? Another describes bees producing a healing liquid from their bellies, using the feminine word for bee and referencing multiple stomachs. Modern science confirms that bees have three stomachs, perfectly matching the Qur’an’s description. SubhanAllah.
Another experience that left a strong impression was receiving a Qur’an through an initiative designed to make it accessible to everyone. The box itself was beautiful, and inside was a purple Qur’an with an excellent English translation. What amazed me most was that it came without pressure—just an open invitation to explore, to read, and to learn.
This initiative made it easy to approach the Qur’an without feeling intimidated, especially for someone like me who had never considered reading it or thought it was only in Arabic. It allowed me to connect with the words of God in a personal, meaningful way.
Reflecting on that journey, I feel immense gratitude. The process of learning, discovering, and reading the Qur’an opened a path I never imagined, guiding me toward Islam and deepening my understanding of God’s message. May Allah bless all efforts that make such knowledge accessible and inspire hearts to explore the truth.
