He and other da’ees founded a dawah group called Al Hidayah. The group has been doing public comparative dawah and debates with different church leaders around Mozambique ,Zambia ,South Africa ,Zimbabwe and whole Malawi.

He has been as well training the reverts at different institutions before joining Iera.

He recently completed the iERA online dawah training course.

He likes football, Martial arts and Public Comparative dawah.

Saidi joined iERA with the aim of expanding his knowledge base in the field of dawah.

He also added that, joining iERA would allow him reach a wider audience through the village outreach activities.

When asked what advise he would give other duats, Saidi emphasized on the importance of gaining  experience from people who know much about dawah activities.

He added that working with passion and putting one’s trust in Allah is also an important point to notice.

He further added that duats should regularly update their skills and conduct of doing dawah.

When Saidi was asked about his best case-study, he narrated a story of a Chief and his subjects in a village.

He said, ‘In this village an interesting thing happened, there were no Muslims in this village it was dominated by churches. The chief himself was a drunkard as well as most of the villagers. We started dawah and Alhamdulilah many people in this village embraced Islam including the chief himself and his family.

With the village being dominated by Christians, the church leaders started counter attacks, discouraging those who accepted Islam.

Interestingly, they were resisting themselves after knowing the truth. The Chief was involved with magic and with the help of prayers and dawah, he stopped.

Upon realizing the truth of Islam, he declared himself that he will never drink alcohol again. The Iera team encouraged the villagers that the challenges will be there but Allah will help and they should depend on Allah. Alhamdulillah the village is Muslim dominated. There is a mosque with children attending madrasah’.

Saidi added that his greatest challenge in the field of dawah was, he indicated that it was the same village that gave him his best case-study. According to him, after the people had embraced Islam, the Christians and the churches launched a counter evangelism to convert the New Muslims back to Christianity.

The solution he thought about was to convince his Coordinator to give him an extra month in the village to strengthen the New Muslims with Islamic knowledge and it was a big success.

His recent interactions have been with his fellow Outreach Specialists where he taught them how to give dawah.

Some of his challenges is with following up on New Muslims and how to retain them.

Means to easily move from one place. And the solution he has in mind is to involve volunteers to make the work much easier.

Saidi’s favorite code of honor is ‘follow the leader’ he further added  that success of everything including dawah, there has to be protocols and following the leader is a recipe for success.
