A spirit of unity, joy and Islamic brotherhood filled the gathering as new Muslims, together with iERA Da’ees, organized a colorful “Come Together” function aimed at empowering new Muslims, promoting togetherness and enhancing Islamic knowledge among converts from different villages.
The event brought together new Muslims from various communities in an atmosphere filled with love, learning and friendship. Participants engaged in a number of exciting activities including netball, football and athletics competitions, which created excitement and strengthened bonds among attendees. After the sports activities, participants took part in interactive question-and-answer sessions on Islam, followed by beautiful Quran recitation competitions where several new Muslims showcased their growing knowledge of the Holy Quran.

Winners in the different activities walked away with prizes as a way of encouraging and motivating them to continue learning and practicing Islam.
The function was attended by all coordinators and was graced by the Head of Da’wah in the district, Sheikh Muhammad Kalanzi. In his address, Sheikh Kalanzi thanked the new Muslims for embracing and loving their newfound religion. He encouraged them to remain steadfast and continue seeking Islamic knowledge in order to strengthen their faith and understanding of Islam.
He also applauded iERA for the tremendous work it is doing to spread and empower Islam in different parts of the world. Sheikh Kalanzi particularly appreciated the organization for nurturing and supporting converts through the New Muslim Support Class initiative, which has played a key role in guiding many new Muslims in their Islamic journey.
Meanwhile, the area coordinator, Brother Sirajjidin, urged the new Muslims to make good use of their area Imams and teachers to continue learning about Islam. He thanked them for their commitment and dedication in attending the New Muslim Support Classes despite the challenges they may face.
The event ended on a high note, leaving participants inspired, motivated and more united than ever before. Many attendees expressed happiness and gratitude for the opportunity to interact, learn and strengthen their bond as one Muslim Ummah.
