From New Muslims to Mosque Builder

Kapen Village was once a Christian-majority community, with only a small number of Muslims living there. Many people in the village had never had the opportunity to learn about the teachings of Islam or understand what Muslims believe. This began to change when the IERA Dawah Team visited the village and invited people to attend Dawah classes.

The community responded positively, and people began attending the classes in large numbers. As the lessons continued, many people started to understand Islam more clearly. They learned that Allah created us to worship Him alone and that Jesus was a prophet and messenger of God, not God Himself. These lessons helped clear many misunderstandings, and a number of people decided to embrace Islam.

After accepting Islam, the new Muslims looked at their community and realized that there was no mosque in their village. They understood that having a mosque nearby would make it easier for them to perform their daily prayers, learn about their faith, and worship together as a growing Muslim community.

The new Muslims then came together and began making bricks to build a mosque in their village. Everyone is contributing what they can to the project, working together to create a place of worship for the community. Their unity and commitment are a beautiful sign of how Dawah is bringing positive change to Kapen Village.
