Their responsibility continues by supporting new Muslims

On his very first day at the mosque, this young man had the opportunity to learn about Islam and eventually recite the Shahada. It was a beautiful and life changing moment, but for the da’wah workers of iERA, the journey did not end there. In fact, it was only the beginning.

They did not leave him alone after he embraced Islam. They welcomed him warmly, listened to him, and began helping him build a strong foundation for his new life as a Muslim. They understood that embracing Islam is a major step and that every new Muslim needs support, guidance, and companionship.

He was gradually introduced to Islamic knowledge and taught how to rely upon his Lord, understand his faith, and appreciate the beauty of living as a Muslim. Step by step, he began to discover a new way of life built upon faith, worship, purpose, and connection with Allah.

For the da’wah workers of iERA, the Shahada is not the end of the journey. It is the beginning of a new chapter, a journey of faith, knowledge, growth, and guidance. Their responsibility continues by supporting new Muslims as they learn and strengthen their relationship with Allah.

Because true da’wah is not simply about helping someone accept Islam; it is also about helping them grow within it. The Shahada may take only a few moments to say, but the journey that follows can last a lifetime.
