Musa Andrew Chiabale is a 31 year old man who works at Siavonga, a town at the Southern province of Zambia.
He is a hardworking individual who is eager to learn. He is also a highly motivated person who really loves team work and learns from his mistakes. He likes to exercise, read and also traveling to a lot of places. He is a patient person and very committed to his duties. Andrew joined iERA to give Dawah given the fact that it is the luxurious work of the Prophets of Allah. His success springs from his eagerness to listen and his commitment to his duties as well as practicing what he learns. His advice to his fellow Duat is to have patience and making lots of dua so that Allah gives guidance to humanity. He believes by doing so, we will be able to invite a lot of people to Islam. When asked what skills he considers most important to have as a Da’ee, he made mention of good communication skills and the ability to give correct answers to given questions with wisdom. His best case study was of a woman who was a Muslim but was forced to leave Islam after her husband died. What was so interesting was that he happened to have gone to the same madrassa with her sons. It was after the woman had explained a little bit about herself and her children that he came to know she was the mother to his friends. From there, He counseled her and she showed some interest and returned to Islam. According to him, one of the challenges he faced and managed to overcome was that of adapting to his new location of Dawah where there is high temperatures and hills all around but with determination and perseverance, he has acclimatized to the station he was sent to. In his free times he read lots of books for self-development. The main challenge Andrew faces is having to travel long distances without mobility. If means of movement can be provided for him, it will go a long way to make his work much easier. Andrew’s favorite iERA’s code of conduct is ‘Your word is your honor’, and the reason He likes that particular one is because words contribute a great deal to everything that is happening in society. He added that nations have gone to wars because of people who said the right words at the wrong time. Families have broken because of ill speeches therefore it’s important to honor one’s words. |
