Abdulla Meja is a 44 year old Zambian based in the village of Siavonga. His passion is rooted in the recitation of the Qur’an and Islamic studies.

Meja joined Iera to improve on the quality of his dawah through the GORAP method and to impact this knowledge in calling his people to the truth.
According to him, his success as on of the best duats working with Iera stems from the fact that he listens and pay careful attention while communicating with his audiences.
He further added that, responding to questions posed to him in his dawah activities, he tries to be articulate and makes his questioners feel that their questions are very important.

His advise for other colleague duats is for them to work hard and follow the rulings, etiquettes and commands of the Qur’an and upon the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) because that is the way to success.
According to Meja, the challenge he faces is that his community where he does dawah is very small and therefore to revisit the people everyday with the same message makes it difficult to get new shahadahs.
His proposed solution is for there to be a shift in the areas of dawah once in every few months.
