Nadya Romina Vargas – 32 – San Juan, Argentina
In a moment when the world seemed to have come to a complete halt, Nadya Romina Vargas found a path of light and hope through the Sacred Quran. The significance it has had for her has led her to believe that distributing the Quran is essential for Muslims to build an Islamic lifestyle, something vital for those taking their first steps into Islam.
It was during the pandemic lockdown and the free time she had that she was able to explore Islam, a faith until then unknown to her. The call to prayer, heard for the first time on social media, touched her heart and propelled her into a spiritual quest. Despite initial challenges, such as learning Arabic and understanding the basic practices she needed to carry out daily, her determination and faith led her to fully embrace this new path.
Nadya’s journey took her to Buenos Aires, where she visited mosques and received her first Quran in Arabic, a moment that forever marked her. “The message of the Sacred Quran helped me realize that our time is running out and it has already warned us what will happen to each of us, depending on the path we choose.”
Nadya encourages those exploring Islam to approach the Quran gradually: “do not pressure yourselves too much so as not to get frustrated along the way, you should take it easy and enjoy the process of embracing Islam and learning step by step.”
