Etienne’s Wisdom: A Journey to Truth

During one of our dawah activities, we encountered a young man named Nduwayo Etienne. He was walking on the street, carrying with him questions that had lingered in his mind for years—questions about life, faith, and purpose. When we shared the message of Islam with him, it resonated deeply, and he accepted it with an open heart.

Etienne shared how he had been searching for answers, unsure of where to find clarity. Our meeting, he said, felt like the moment he had been waiting for. What stood out to him most was the righteousness and discipline embedded in Islam.

“Islam is a religion of righteousness that teaches good and forbids evil,” Etienne remarked. He went on to explain how he admired the modesty and order he observed among Muslims: “I was attracted by your way of life. You dress properly, you don’t show nudity like in some churches. The women wear dresses that cover their whole bodies, and that’s very good. There’s a certain order in Islam, and I like that a lot.”

Etienne is a courageous and thoughtful individual, unafraid to express his views. His wisdom and honesty led him to embrace the truth of Islam wholeheartedly. Today, he is not only a Muslim but a shining example of sincerity and reflection.

His story reminds us of the power of dawah and the profound impact of living as an example of Islamic values. May Allah guide Etienne further in his journey and bless him with steadfastness in his faith.
