During a recent street dawah session in Moncton, the IERA team experienced two deeply inspiring encounters that highlighted the power of genuine conversation and community support.
Early in the day, a gentleman approached the dawah table expressing interest in discussing Jesus. Discovering he was French-speaking, the team connected him with a French-speaking brother to ensure the conversation was clear and respectful. The gentleman was open, curious, and genuinely eager to learn more about Islam. May Allah guide his heart toward the truth.
Later, the team met a Muslim brother who had recently moved to Canada and had been struggling to maintain his faith during the transition. He shared how he had been working to reconnect with Allah step by step. Upon seeing the dawah table, he felt drawn to approach the team. He expressed sincere gratitude and a strong desire to participate in dawah efforts in the future. The team shared information about weekly meetings at Masjid Yusuf and invited him to join the Sunday gathering after Asr prayer. His openness and enthusiasm were a beautiful reminder that dawah strengthens both non-Muslims and Muslims seeking to rebuild their connection with Allah.

The session left the team with a renewed sense of purpose, reminding them that every conversation, however brief, has the potential to make a lasting impact. May Allah keep all those engaged in these efforts steadfast, reward their sincerity, and inspire more brothers and sisters to contribute to the cause.
The Prophet ﷺ said: “By Allah, if Allah were to guide one man through you, it would be better for you than red camels.” (Bukhari & Muslim)
