Alhamdulillah, the Destination Dawah mission began on 11 December, marking the start of a blessed and impactful journey of learning, engagement, and sincere service for the sake of Allah. Esteemed guests, including Brother Yusuf Chambers, arrived at Bakili Muluzi International Airport to join the team on the ground.
Following their arrival, the team gathered for a powerful and well-received presentation session. This session strengthened the overall approach to dawah, improved communication, and ensured that everyone clearly understood the objectives of the mission. Participants were fully engaged, asked valuable questions, and contributed meaningfully. The session also helped unify the team and reinforced the spirit of working together purely for the sake of Allah.

As the mission progressed, the team carried out a mass dawah activity in the community. Through meaningful and impactful conversations about Islam, many hearts were touched. Alhamdulillah, during this outreach, 150 people accepted Islam, marking an inspiring milestone in the dawah efforts.
After the mass dawah, the team visited two New Muslim classes, providing guidance, motivation, and continued support to help strengthen the new Muslims in their understanding and practice of Islam. These visits played an important role in nurturing them during their early journey in the deen.
The mission later continued with a visit to another New Muslim class, where the team and the new Muslims worked together to build a simple grass Masjid. They then prayed Jumu’ah together, fostering a strong sense of unity, brotherhood, and motivation. During this visit, questions were answered, advice was shared, and the new Muslims were encouraged to remain committed to learning and practicing Islam.
After these spiritually uplifting activities, the team visited Chikwawa Majete Game Reserve to explore and observe different animals. This experience allowed the team and guests to enjoy the beauty of Allah’s creation, reflect on the wonders of nature, and strengthen their appreciation for the blessings surrounding them.
The journey continued to Thuchila in Phalombe, where a member of the team was celebrating the birth of a baby (Hakikah). As part of the celebration, food was shared, and gifts were given not only to the family and community but also to the Destination Dawah team. This joyful event offered an opportunity to connect with the community, celebrate life’s blessings, and strengthen the bonds of friendship and support.
Before concluding the mission and returning home, the team held a final meeting at Vumbwe Game Haven. During this gathering, they shared their experiences, reflections, and lessons learned throughout the Destination Dawah journey. The meeting provided a moment of gratitude, reflection, and unity, highlighting the impact of the mission on both the communities served and the team members themselves.
From its beginning on 11 December to the moments of worship, learning, reflection in nature, community celebrations, and sharing of experiences, the journey of the Destination Dawah mission stood as a clear example of sincerity, unity, and wisdom in carrying out dawah. May Allah accept these efforts, place barakah in this mission, and allow its positive impact to continue growing within the communities served.
