Ugandan Da’wah Missionaries Energized for Village Outreach

The three-day IERA Uganda Du’ats Induction successfully concluded, leaving a team of dedicated missionaries (Du’āts) from one of its operational districts energized and strategically prepared for their upcoming field mission. The induction, specifically organized to empower the Du’ats and forge ways of improving Da’wah work, served as a vital forum for reflection and planning.

Gathered together, the Du’ats engaged in earnest discussions, dissecting the challenges they face in the field and the impact of these hurdles on the Dawah work. Through the candid sharing of shared experiences and challenges, the participants collaboratively brainstormed solutions, refining their strategies for effective Da’wah. A core focus of the induction was the paramount importance of supporting new Muslims, ensuring their sustainable growth and development within the faith.

As the program drew to a close, the organization’s leadership delivered key messages to propel the team forward:

  • Brother Abdurahman, the Operations Officer, urged the Du’āt to proactively identify and solve problems that obstruct the Da’wah process. He stressed the imperative to reach out to everybody in the villages and diligently follow up on those who embrace Shahada (the declaration of faith).
  • Brother Akram, the Education Officer, emphasized the strict necessity of adhering to the new Muslim syllabus and curriculum. He made a passionate appeal for the Du’āt to paint a good picture and maintain discipline as callers to Islam, recognizing that such conduct will attract respect from communities and ultimately ease their Da’wah process.
  • Brother Yahya, the District Head, underscored the critical need for time consciousness in their work. He affirmed that the intensive three days of training must not be wasted, imploring every Du’āt to take away and implement the valuable lessons learned.

With their strategies honed, their faith reinforced, and their purpose clear, the Du’āt are now prepared for the next 25 days of the prophetic mission in the villages, ready to implement their enhanced approach and further the work of IERA Uganda.
