During this period, the team in New Zealand continued its efforts in da’wah, education, and community engagement through a range of impactful activities and outreach initiatives.
A total of 200 people were introduced to Islam through conversations, discussions, and distribution of Islamic material. While no shahadahs were recorded during the week, meaningful connections and opportunities for future engagement continued to grow.
The team also conducted four Islam 101 classes, providing individuals with a foundational understanding of Islam and creating space for open discussion and learning. Support for new Muslims remained a key focus, with four individuals receiving dedicated assistance and guidance as they continued their journeys in Islam. In addition, one mentorship session was carried out to help strengthen personal development and Islamic understanding.

Training and skills development also formed an important part of the week’s activities. Two da’wah training sessions were held to equip callers and volunteers with knowledge and confidence in outreach, while four public speaking sessions helped participants improve their communication and presentation skills.
Alongside these efforts, five stakeholder meetings took place to strengthen relationships, discuss future collaborations, and support the continued growth of da’wah initiatives across the region.
