“Never Say Die.” More than an attitude, it is a reminder to keep moving forward, even when the journey becomes difficult. After a full day of swimming and jumping off cliffs, the team decided to make the climb to a higher point to watch the sunrise. One of the brothers had suffered cuts to his leg from broken glass, but when the group decided to continue, his response was simple: “Since we’re going, let’s go.” Despite the pain, he refused to let the obstacle stop him.
As the team continued their climb, they encountered James, a local farmer. What began as a simple meeting soon became a meaningful conversation about God, life and the purpose of our existence. James came from a Christian background and was a devoted man, but he was open to listening and learning more about Islam

.
As the conversation developed, the team shared the message of Islam and explained its call to worship the One true God. Alhamdulillah, James was convinced by what he heard and decided to embrace Islam by taking the Shahadah. Afterward, he asked a simple but meaningful question: “Can I have a Muslim name?” The team gave him the name Yusuf, marking the beginning of his new journey as a Muslim.
Sometimes, the most challenging journeys lead to the most beautiful moments. A painful injury did not stop the climb, and the difficult path did not prevent the team from reaching the place where they would meet Yusuf. What appeared to be an ordinary journey became an opportunity for Dawah and a moment of guidance.
Yusuf’s journey has only just begun, and the team will continue supporting him as he learns, grows and settles into his new life as a Muslim. This is the spirit of Dawah: continuing despite obstacles, being present wherever opportunities arise, and sharing the message of Islam with sincerity. Never Say Die.
