Following an intensive four-month training program, over 30 new Muslim du’at (Islamic propagators) officially graduated from the Islamic Education and Research Academy (iERA) center, ready to ignite positive religious change within their local communities.
The colorful graduation ceremony brought together prominent Muslim leaders—led by the District Kadhi—alongside community members, distinguished guests, and proud parents who gathered to witness the fruits of their children’s dedication.

During the event, the graduates put their newfound knowledge into action, performing heartfelt practical demonstrations of core Islamic rites. They showcased the proper procedures for performing wudhu (ablution), reciting verses from various surahs of the Holy Qur’an, and delivering powerful Jumu’ah khutbahs (Friday sermons). In a moving display of practical learning, the trainees also demonstrated the sacred rituals of preparing the deceased for burial and leading the Janazah (funeral) prayers.
Looking ahead to their new mission, several graduates expressed optimism about returning home to uplift their neighborhoods spiritually and morally through the dawah skills they acquired during their time at the center.
Addressing the fresh graduates, Brother Akram, the iERA Education Officer, commended the trainees for the remarkable resilience they demonstrated throughout the rigorous four-month curriculum. He emphasized that personal character remains the true cornerstone of their outreach.
“Be the change,” Brother Akram urged, calling on the graduates to uphold high standards of discipline as the core of their impact on society. He further encouraged them to view this milestone not as the end of their education, but as the beginning of a lifelong journey of seeking knowledge.
