The Banda family had been attending iERA dawah classes for almost three weeks, learning about Islam and its teachings. Although they had not yet taken their Shahadah, they had developed a strong interest in Islam and appreciated what they were learning.
One day, the husband and wife met with the Outreach Specialist to explain that they would not attend the dawah classes that day because they had somewhere to go. The Outreach Specialist understood and allowed them to leave. Before they went, he asked them what was stopping them from becoming Muslims.

The couple replied that nothing was stopping them and that they loved Islam. They explained that they admired the good character of Muslims and how they treated other people. They also expressed how fortunate they felt that the iERA team had come to their area to teach them about Islam. They said they were ready to become Muslims.
After hearing their response, the Outreach Specialist helped them take their Shahadah. Both the husband and wife embraced Islam together, beginning a new chapter in their lives.
