During a door-to-door dawah visit, the Outreach Specialist met an elderly man who had followed his traditional religion since childhood. The man welcomed the Outreach Specialist, who explained that they were visiting homes to teach people about Islam. When asked whether he had heard about Islam before, the man said he had, but he did not believe in it. He explained that he had followed the traditional beliefs of his parents since the day he was born.
The Outreach Specialist began explaining the Islamic belief in Tawheed, teaching him that Allah is One and has no partners. He explained that Allah alone deserves to be worshipped and that idols cannot create life or provide the help people seek from them. He also explained that Allah sent prophets to guide people towards worshipping Him alone and that the purpose of human life is to worship Allah without associating partners with Him.

As the elderly man listened, he began reflecting on his own life. He had been facing many challenges and had been praying to idols, hoping they would help him overcome his difficulties. The explanation about Tawheed made him reconsider his beliefs and think more deeply about whom he should turn to in worship. For the first time, he had the opportunity to discuss these matters and learn about the Islamic understanding of worshipping Allah alone.
Moved by what he had heard, the elderly man decided to embrace Islam without hesitation. With the help of the Outreach Specialist, he took his Shahadah and began a new chapter in his life as a Muslim.
