She was walking in a haste while passing by the table. We immediately offered her the opportunity to get a free booklet to read at her own time. She passed and slowly stopped to ask what the books were. We gave a brief tour of the Qur’an and its basic teachings of guidance for mankind. It was at this moment, she said the Qur’an is the book most interesting to her.
We picked the Qur’an and presented it to her. She seemed a bit amazed holding it, then we used the chance to educate her on how to read the Qur’an more easily while focusing on the messages in the first few verses of Surah Al Fatiha and Al-Baqarah. It was at this point she pointed out to us that she has a muslim driver & he will teach her more.
She was joyful, like someone who met a long lost friend. Perhaps this was because she never ever thought of having access to the Qur’an but today she is a proud owner of one at no cost for her to read, learn, be taught and find some direction. Allahu Akbar.
