Yasin Tadeyo, a Namitete resident, has risked it all for the sake of sharing the message of Allah to those that are yet to accept the oneness of Allah and Muhammad’s (S.A.W) prophet-hood.
Tadeyo accepted Islam in June 2023 after attending one of iERA’s Da’wah programs near his residential area. Just like most new Muslims, he decided to stick to iERA classes in order to grasp the smallest, possible, Islamic knowledge.
Upon completion of a 21 day training, he discovered that his quest to learn more about Islam had not been fulfilled enough. Hence, he volunteered to go for for iERA’s Imam Program with the idea that he would one day become an Islamic leader of his community though upon completion of the program, fate directed him to work at a Macadamia farm near his residence.

Due to the nature of his job, he realised it wouldn’t be easy for him to lead his community and serve his job simultaneously. His job requires him to be physically present at the farm which made it very hard for him to be present for Islamic events. But his work place is a place with plenty of workers. Hence, it prompted him to start sharing with them the message of Islam to the extent that every time he had a workmate around, it was time for Da’wah.
Upon hearing this, his boss was eager to stop him from the task as more of his workmates had started showing interest in his topics. The boss threatened him a couple of times but he did not stop delivering the message of Allah’s oneness.
In March 2025, his boss was fed up with him to the extent that he received a 2 weeks suspension letter with a warning that he would be fired if he continued to tell people about Islam. He fulfilled his suspension and went back to work and do Da’wah relentlessly no matter the circumstances.
