From Passing By to Taking Shahadah: John’s Journey

John Bester from Chiradzulu is often found in Blantyre town. One day, as he was passing near Kamuzu Stadium, he noticed a group from the iERA City Team doing dawah, inviting people to Islam. He paused for a moment and watched with curiosity as they spoke to people and some even embraced Islam.

Although he was interested, John did not stop to attend the session that day and continued with his journey. However, what he saw stayed in his mind. He began thinking deeply about Islam, something he had been curious about for a long time.

After some time, he decided that he would go back and visit the dawah team. When the day came, he returned and joined them. He listened carefully to their message and asked questions, trying to understand more about Islam and its teachings.

As he listened, everything became clear to him. He realized this was his opportunity to follow what he believed was the truth. Without hesitation, John took his shahadah and embraced Islam, beginning a new and meaningful chapter in his life.
