Chief Steliya Linesi from Kalosi Village accepted Islam three years ago. Her journey began when an outreach team from iERA visited her village and requested permission to stay for about a month to teach people about Islam. As the village chief, she welcomed them and allowed them to conduct their classes.
She decided to attend the classes not to learn at first, but to ensure there was peace among the people. Since individuals from different religions were gathering together, she wanted to make sure everything remained calm, respectful, and harmonious. As she continued attending, she observed how peacefully people interacted, which slowly made her more attentive to what was being shared.

Over time, she began reflecting deeply on what she heard and saw. She remembered how, as a Christian, they used to sing about Moses removing his shoes, yet they did not practice it themselves. This led her to question why they believed in Moses but did not follow his example. She also began to question misconceptions she had heard about Islam and felt the need to understand it more clearly, so she approached an outreach specialist to ask questions and learn directly.
Through these reflections and conversations, her understanding gradually changed. She became convinced that Islam was the true religion. She decided to take her shahada and embrace Islam. Her decision had a strong impact on her family, and they too chose to accept Islam alongside her.
