As dawn broke, the gentle breeze from Lake blew softly, as if signaling the grace that lay ahead. We were on a passenger boat, which we were used to calling “The One Who Didn’t Love Has Come Again” a name full of symbolism, but for those onboard, it held a deeper meaning.

Our journey was not an ordinary one. It was neither for business nor for leisure. We were heading to Ijinga Island, with a single mission: to deliver the message of Islam with love and wisdom.
Inside the boat, there was a silence filled with reflection and prayer. Each of us had a role. But most eyes were fixed on our team leader, Abdallah Mkali, a young man with the heart of a lion and a calm demeanor. His voice was soft, but his words pierced hearts. He stood, looked out at the water, then spoke in a calming tone before our fellow passengers. And thus began the real work of dawah encouraging the recognition of worshiping one God.
