The people of Isela could hardly contain their joy. For years, they had quietly prayed for one simple blessing, a place and teachers who could help them learn more about Islam. Their prayers were filled with hope, even when answers seemed delayed. Then, at last, their request was granted. A group of outreach from IERA Tanzania arrived, bringing with them knowledge, energy, and a deep passion for sharing the teachings of Islam.
The community welcomed them warmly. After meeting with the mosque leadership, it was decided that the lessons, or darsa, would begin immediately. Instead of holding the class inside the mosque as usual, the teachers chose to conduct it outdoors. This unexpected decision surprised many of the students, who were accustomed to sitting within the mosque’s walls during lessons.

Curious and slightly unsure, the students gathered under a large tree near the mosque. As the lesson began, they listened attentively. The teaching style was engaging and lively, making the session both educational and inspiring. Before long, smiles spread across their faces. What had first seemed unusual quickly became something they truly loved.
The sight of people studying outside attracted others as well. Neighbors passing by some who were not Muslims paused with interest. Drawn by curiosity, they stepped closer and listened quietly to the teachings being shared beneath the tree.
When the session finally came to an end, no one wanted to leave. The students eagerly requested that the classes continue regularly. Their hearts were full, their faith strengthened, and their desire to learn even greater than before.
