In a small village beside a river, the people were deeply curious and eager to discover the truth about religion and life. They often discussed spiritual matters among themselves, searching for answers that could bring peace to their hearts. One day, they gathered together and approached a Muslim preacher with an important question that had been troubling them for a long time.
With sincerity and curiosity, they asked, “Can a person with our kind of appearance or background become a Muslim?” The preacher looked at them calmly and smiled gently before answering. He explained that Islam does not judge people based on their appearance, race, tribe, or origin. Instead, Allah looks at the sincerity of the heart and the goodness of one’s actions.
Those words touched them deeply. Many of them had believed that faith was limited to certain groups of people, and they were surprised to hear that the door of Islam was open to everyone. They then asked again with hope in their voices, “Does that even mean we can become Muslims?”

The preacher replied softly, “Yes, the door is open for anyone who seeks the truth and wishes to worship Allah alone.” A brief silence spread among the villagers as they reflected on his words. Then one of them spoke firmly and confidently, declaring the Shahada: “There is no god worthy of worship except Allah, and Muhammad is His Messenger.”
Soon the others followed, their faces filled with peace, joy, and relief. That day, the village changed forever not because of outward appearances, but because their hearts had been transformed by faith and guidance.
