Calling people to Islam is an important responsibility for every Muslim. Da’wah is not about arguing or forcing anyone to accept a belief, but about sharing the message of Islam with wisdom, kindness, patience, and beautiful words. Every Muslim can contribute to Da’wah according to their knowledge, ability, and circumstances.
This is the approach taken by the Da’wah team at IERA, who continue reaching people in different communities and engaging them in meaningful conversations about Islam. They listen to questions, explain the foundations of the faith, and create an environment where people feel comfortable expressing their thoughts and seeking understanding.
One example is Haji Seifu, who has dedicated his time to reaching young people and speaking to them with patience and wisdom. On one occasion, he engaged two young men in a conversation about the message of Islam and the importance of knowing the Creator.
Throughout the conversation, Haji Seifu used simple and understandable language while giving the young men an opportunity to ask questions and share their perspectives. His purpose was not to pressure them, but to present the message clearly and respectfully, allowing them to learn and reflect at their own pace.
Stories like this remind us that Da’wah requires patience, compassion, and perseverance. Sometimes understanding takes time, but a sincere conversation can plant a seed that grows later. Through the continued efforts of IERA Tanzania and people like Haji Seifu, more young people are being given an opportunity to learn about Islam and discover its message of faith, purpose, and good character.
