From Confusion to Clarity: How Shafik Found the Truth.

For years, Samson Kisekka sat in the pews of his Born-Again church, worshipping Jesus as the Son of God. He followed the path he was given, but curiosity eventually led him to ask his pastor: “What is Islam all about?”.

The answer he received was one of fear. The pastor claimed Islam was a “religion of a curse” and a “prison” that would lead his soul to perish.

But Samson’s heart wasn’t satisfied with fear; it wanted facts. He approached a Muslim neighbor who denied the pastor’s claims, but the man was in a hurry and couldn’t explain more. The seed of doubt, however, had been planted.

The real transformation began when the iERA duats arrived in his village. Unlike the warnings of his past, their message was clear and grounded in logic. They spoke to him about the person he knew best: Jesus.

They explained that Jesus was not God, nor the Son of God, but a noble Messenger of the Almighty. They showed Samson how Islam actually honors and follows Jesus more closely than he ever imagined—from his character and his teachings to the way he prayed.

The words resonated deep within him. Samson realized that while his former leaders had misled him, the truth was now standing right in front of him. The “prison” his pastor warned him about was actually the freedom of the truth.

Without hesitation, Samson embraced Islam and chose the name Shafik. He traded confusion for conviction, stepping out of the shadows of myth and into the light of Tawheed (the Oneness of God).
